I think maybe they should try to get the lunge to extend on Arcblade when lunging at a target's back? I know the coding for this would be an awful mess if it's even possible, but straight-up increasing the lunge would be a bit much on top of being perma-invisible. But I would support having increased lunge if they have positioning on their side.

    I can see that. One thing though the animation for blink strike is different and slower than the swipe for arcblade. It would actually hold you in place on hit for a second. I don't think you would need the distance increase if you had the speed increase. You should be able to close that gap with double sprint speed. Edit: I reread what you are saying. I misunderstood about blink strike. I still don't think you need the distance increase WITH speed increase though.

  • I didn't say anything about speed, was that part of your post? Yeah, those types of things don't need to stack. But I think making Backstab apply to Arcblade lunge would give them ample reason to nerf the crap out of the actual Backstab perk as it is now. Even 180 degrees is part of the problem; I'm sure the knife is clipping from a frontal attack and reaching the back's hitbox and causing the game to glitch out when this happens. I think miniaturizing the hitbox is key. Good post though, thanks for the time of day. I honestly haven't finished bringing my Bladedancer back to cap in his subclass, so I should probably get on that before the update drops and they're buffed.

    Oh yea. I forgot one of your points already. Yea, I said in the post double sprint/movement speed, stalker during super and no extra armor buffs. Thanks for reading the post

  • I've noticed I get ohk from front when they are jumping at me. Maybe it has something to do with crit hit or angle.
