Blink Strike Crucible bounty next to impossible
I've been trying for I swear fifteen matches straight to get one little Blink Strike kill from behind for today's Crucible bounty, and I tell you it's impossible -- [i]impossible[/i]. No matter how quick or stealthy I am, they always turn around in time and kill me instead. However, I [i]have[/i] actually gotten melee kills from behind; it's just that they're not registering for the bounty. So what, I'm supposed to kill them at precisely 180 degrees behind them and not a degree off? Ugh. Just so frustrating. Nothing is ever simple in the Crucible for me, it eats up all of my time and drives me nuts.

Edited by Destroydacre: 3/16/2016 1:21:48 PMAs others have said equip backstab. Also the hit detection is very wonky for blink strike. I've hit guardians from behind with it where they don't die, however I've ohk full health guardians when using blink strike from the front.

If you don't have a melee charge it's not considered a blink strike

You need to have backstab selected as your perk iirc

1 ReplyI usually get it when I quit trying to get it and just play. Usually get most of the bounties done this way. Worst case senario, just let it sit there in ur inventory, sooner or later it'll happen.

3 RepliesQuit playing the regular, they have radars which in turn have them face you before you get close enough and throw yourself into "Inferno" that is the easiest way you can get a backstab blink strike for the bounty.

Or pull a good ol' halo move where you stand around a corner, as soon as they walk around it, blink up them backstab them as they walk forward in confusion. Trust me, both these make you feel like a ninja
