Cross Platform Play IS POSSIBLE! BUNGIE please read!
An open letter to Bungie...
Bungie, recently in the real world, Microsoft has become the first company to cross-platform xb1 to pc to play a game, Rocket League, and they are already working on opening XB live to PSn members too. What could I be getting at?
Well, why can't Destiny be a cross platform game, if not in this game, then why can't the sequel be? Cross-platform is a feature becoming increasingly requested for all games so why not lead the trend? There is already a login mechanism TIED to our guardians, why can't we scrap that and have a main profile that has a link to our profile. Instead of having 'view gamer card' when you interact with a player, how about a 'view gamer profile' and it leads you to their bungie.net profile?
You already have plenty of different means to do this. I'm sure that not only me but a huge portion of the destiny community would love to be able to cross-platform and play a raid with their friends that have a PS, not an XB.
Thank you for your time and listening to me rant, I really hope you take what I say on board. Its not that I disrespect or meaning to annoy you but if an indie game like rocket-league can be a revolution, so can you.

There was a ps2 game that cross played a game with pc. Xbox wasn't the first. Xbox was the first to allow access between consoles, ie Xbox and playstation. Sony would have to agree, and developers would need to make it work. I don't know if destiny would work or not because the game has already been made with separate servers. Maybe when destiny 2 comes out, they can work it in, but as of now. Doubtful. Also, ps4 v Xbox would be unfair. Last year ps4 had hawkmoon. That is a huge advantage.
