Somewhat obligatory edit: What started as a half-hearted attempt at trolling a little seems to have become a decent conversation that'll probably be moved to #off topic. I didn't expect so many people to chime in because they didn't like the trailer, or because they love the original 1984 film as much as I do. Lastly, isn't it wonderful that when I see so much salt in the comments for the trailer that I'm reminded of Bungie.net?
