Hive wizards cannot fly! You might not belive me but i have solid proof for this.
Have you ever seen a hive wizard flying higher than 10m? No you havent because they do not fly. They have invisible legs. Usually they are not really high up and thats because they are crouching to get better angle to shoot at us, throw smoke clouds and save their energy. When they cross gaps and go above 5m they just strech their long and invisible legs to get there.
This also makes sense for wizards clothes. Why would their skirts have openings on bottom if they dont have any legs?
You can push wizards off platforms and make them fall to their death! I got video of this and i will upload it later. This is solid proof. Why would they fall to death if they can fly?
Only hive creature that we have seen flying is oryx and oryx has wings wizards do not have wings. This means that HIVE CREATURES CAN FLY ONLY IF THEY HAVE WINGS.
Try to prove me wrong!
i bet you can't
edit 1. More solid proof! If you throw a solar grenade to wizards feet they dont fly up! They step sideways out of the grenade.
edit.2 Lot of you people are saying that they fly on darkblade. Like i said earlier on the post they strech their legs so they can leap across. Their legs are somewhere between 10-5m long so they are really good jumpers with those long legs
edit.3 now that this is trending with over 160 replys i am goin to use the chance to promote my twitch

Come watch me kill aliens that have invisible legs LIVE
edit.4 Thats how sister push you off the platform! They kick you with their legs.
SOLID PROOF
edit.5 OVER 300 REPLYS!

2 RepliesDon't read this post people it's a clickbait. I've already explained that "flying" (i..e. hovering in the air) basically makes you weightless and let air push you real easy. You can see this effect in the wizards' constant moving in the air. They are also stunnable and down-plummet-able. Magic or not (look up: enchanted items and dirigibles), the physical body obeys physical laws and must have means to control its position. So we have "wings", controlling body's position, else body will be constantly moving sideways and rotating. No magical creature has or ever had "invisible legs". If you look at common medusa-like hovering bodies, you can notice tentacles' movements, acting as stabilizers. Surely they are neither "legs" nor "wings". Study before you post your ridiculous suppositions plz.

They have a hover affect like warlocks but infinitely.

7 RepliesDark blade strike. Wizard flys across the gap to either side after you unlock the first of two rune. Debunked

1 ReplyIve seen alot of wiz fall off the edge to their deaths on the dreadnaught. They cant fly

Just pointing out. If their skirts had no holes in the bottom they wouldn't be able to change skirts, legs or no legs. The rest I like.

1 ReplyEdited by RoXaS_13: 2/24/2016 9:25:42 PMWhat about Ir Anûk and Ir Hakâk? They are wizards but according to you, they have exetremely long legs. Yet, they don't seem to move more than a foot off the ground.

1 ReplyThis thread wins the award for most interesting Destiny shitpost. Well done OP.

Still a better story than vanilla destiny.
0.04%
1 ReplyTheir version of flight requires some resistance to push against in order to hover. It's not like bernoulli's principle sort of flight
-
they can!!!!! http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Klean%20Killer/video/15126228

1 ReplyThey don't fly or have invisible legs, they use hive magic to hover
-
Edited by Vaerdalen: 2/25/2016 12:43:50 AMI've seen them fall off the moving platforms when opening the door in the darkblade strike. Was kinda funny. As for this, they don't fly and they don't have legs. It's more or a hover that can turn into a warlock like glide when having to pass over a gap.
-
2 Replies"Only hive creature that we have seen flying is oryx and oryx has wings. . ." Actually this makes no since. Wings are used to push off of air and create an upward force thereby making the user fly, but there is no air in space. Magic.

On the mission with the dartboard where you have to cross this gap and open two runes on two pedestals, I've seen hive wizards slowly but surely FLY across them. And not float because they moved to fast for me to consistently snipe them.

Rock solid b8. Very subtle and clever. Bravo.

1 ReplyEdited by Ectogasm: 2/24/2016 3:47:30 PMExplain why at the daughters, when you come up close to them you can see their actual feet, and they're still floating. Don't believe me? Go see for yourself.
I know this is b8 bby ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) but I didn't want people to get the wrong idea.
5 RepliesThey stay afloat by releasing a steady, constant stream of gas out of their buttholes.
-
4 RepliesYou can walk under them. You don't run into invisible legs
