The people that want it to be removed, more often than not, have no idea what they're talking about, and the people that claim that it does little-to-nothing have clearly never used something with a low AA value.

If honestly never use a sniper if each one was like an Omolon sniper
-
In Destiny in particular, speaking exclusively of snipers, it actually does do little to nothing.
-
You have 84 kills with Snipers in PvP and have 1000-Yard Stare equipped, I'm not sure you're in a position to say that (unless your stats extend beyond what I can see)
-
im running around with the eirene in crucible and it is significantly harder to get a kill compared to the 1k stare. and as far as i know the higher the aim assist on snipers is, the higher the reticle slowdown so it becomes "easier" to get headshots. also aim-assist on a primary has weak bullet magnetism. correct me if im wrong.
-
Unlike most AA-based posts I see, there's nothing incorrect about what you've said. Congratulations! Your head is screwed on the right way! If people would drop their 1000-Yard Stares for 5 minutes and try Praedyth's Revenge w/Ambush, they'd realize how wrong they've been.
-
A lot of people have used praedyths revenge actually. I think they'd be just fine
-
I'm not saying that people have never used Praedyth's Revenge before, but when it was in its prime, there were no high-impact Snipers and no one cared about AA. The difference between a 1000-Yard Stare with 71 AA (ShortGaze on the free one that everyone has infused to 320 by now) and Praedyth's Revenge at -5 is more immense than stats can say. Only when you've been used to high AA will you notice low AA, and vice versa.
-
There were other high impact snipers around then, but yes no one cared about AA then , like they do now for what ever reason. The difference is there for sure

actually played against one today. he was more spray'n'pray than going for the headshots though but he was still doing fine ^^
