Dude please don't tell your friend destiny is all he has.....that's horrible. He has much more important things to deal with. Destiny will only waste his time from dealing with those issues. Good luck!

Video games actually helped me when I was suicidal. It doesn't prolong the issue, its a distraction for the unbearable empty gaps and for some people that's life saving. Same with books, movies, etc.

To each their own... Gaming [i]does[/i] prolong my issues, but I don't even care. One foot in the grave, two hands on the controller. Live for the moment.

I understand escapes, but to frame it as the only thing is terrible. Focusing on characteristics or attributes is much healthier. I used to be manic before going on Prozac, so I can relate. Goldeneye helped back then, but focusing on personal strengths was a huge part of it.

I have never told him that, I only stated that beside family and friend destiny is all he got.
