It wasn't to stop them. It was to make people use primary weapons more often. If people want to waste an exotic slot for the sake of a few special rounds then off to them.

Then maybe people should stop complaining so much. You forget its destiny community that begged for these specific changes. Less special in crucible and more primary gun play. Can't really hate bungie for giving us what we wanted.

every nerf thats been handed out for weapons all but the gally nerf has came from the pvp side of things. I just thought it was funny things like invective can regen ammo but at the same time you can reload it normally thats abit broken, if it can regen ammo why give it the ability to reload as it would any other shot gun? if bungie can disable perks on weapons/armor that gives you 3rd eye in inferno then for 3v3 an 2v2 they can do it for regen weapons as well and allow them to be reloaded normally or by picking up an ammo crate
