I don't know why they insist on using/abusing adjectives like that.
"Large"?
By whose assesment?
TTK was supposed to be "huge" and "the largest expansion we've seen yet", but that was milked dry in about 2 weeks by casual players. Although HoW didn't introduce any new Patrol areas, it could easily be argued that it had as much content as TTK.

Taken king added in as much as other dlc if not more. They also changed the system and some mechanics.

Yeah, TTK was huge because its only comparison was the two short ass dlcs. This is the equivalent of having DLC 1 including two MP maps, then DLC 2 including 4.
