Details. I want details. Instead I got vague promises. Not holding out any hope as it's now 2/3 dlcs later and the game is probably worse for it. They have had a looooonnnnggg time to come up with something worthwhile, I just don't think they are capable.

It's funny, people were citing elder scrolls and SWBF for giving out their plans for the year and praising them. Bungie does that and people complain about it somehow still. Trust me when I say these people will never be happy. They actively look for a reason to hate the game. I doubt their real life is any better.

People are still complaining. Always have and always will be. We are entitled to this and that. Petition this and petition that, its pathetic and childish. Sometimes I'm embarrassed just coming to the forums and reading all the whining. I just hope Bungie does not think that all of their player base acts like the majority of the forums do. I realize the game is not perfect but come on guys grow up already! With that said, I am looking forward to the spring update. I'm curious as to what they have planned for us to reach the new light level.

Not really, I'm desperate for something new and didn't get dates for when and what is coming. This isn't really new news since Urk told us a while back to expect a small event and something bigger than Taken King. Just more waiting for me.

10 RepliesI was happy to hear there will be an actual DLC before Destiny 2 arrives. I'd pretty much resigned myself to waiting for D2 as these free events don't hold much interest for me. I'm curious to see what the Spring update holds. Based on the wording, I'm guessing there is no actual new content, i.e. new missions, strikes, etc. They said there would be new challenges and replayability. That tells me we're either getting another challenge to the raid, or the old raids/strikes are being brought in to Year Two, which isn't too exciting to me. But whatever, I've got zombies to run over with my dune buggy at the moment, so whenever new content comes along is fine with me.

It's definitely good news, but we'll need to wait and see it. In addition to increased light and new gear, several other things need to change if the game is to be improved.

You wish. They could have said flat out that something as big as HoW was coming out for free in 2 months and the crybabies on this site would still bitch about it not being next week, or not having a new raid, or the lack of free Y2 gjallarhorns just for logging in, etc. etc.

Wouldn't be surprised if the spring update brings year one content to year 2 with light level increases to get people playing year one raids again.
