People know that "Crimson Days" is weak and only want to farm the loot and get games over with quicker so they can then do fun things.

It is honestly more fun than trials for me.

I don't doubt it, just wish a tad more was in this update.

Like play a different game?

Yes a different game or another mode they prefer in Destiny. Destiny for me over the past few months has been horrible in terms of loot and they purposely limit the loot and the light it drops at so that when they release events like these with top tier gear then hopefully people will come back for a shot at it. This strategy works well if players know the next expansion is coming and want to be fully prepared for it (light level wise) or if the gear you get you can keep to show off at a later date since it'll be more exclusive. I fell for that stuff before, but I won't this time (also don't want to add to their statistics of people who played, bought silver, etc.). Call me crazy, but I just don't want Bungie to think this "event" is acceptable given the time they had to make it. However, I know the allure that these events have with the gear being offered and naturally so do other players. So how do you prepare your character for the next DLC so if you come back you're ready to go and at the same time minimize the time it takes so you can do/play something you enjoy? I no longer play any PVP in Destiny. Last IB 2015 played 50+ games after rank 5. Saw 2 items 320 light drop. I stopped. It's one thing to tolerate the lag for descent rewards, but not this. If anyone found suicide stops them wasting time running around shooting for sh1t, more power to them. It's no different than farming 'The Kell', except he doesn't bitch for an easy win! Typical Destiny players complaining that they won too easy. What's next? Surprise me...

Seriously man haha Bungie added just one mode to this event and its PvP based which forces PvE players into the Crucible. Lol PvE players don't want to be there to begin with, but have to if they are chasing a 320 shell. If someone is suicide farming to speed up the process and get out of there sooner than thats on them. If you're looking for "sweaty play" then go into classic 3's until the weekend when most of the ghost farming is done with.

That's true. But there are those now complaining that they got and easy win! It never ends, the brine shrimp parade..
-
They are 'playing a different game'. The game they are playing is called: Ghost Farming. Everyone else is playing Crimson Doubles.

Edited by Blue: 2/11/2016 6:12:54 PMI agree its annoying players used to do that to me and my friends in Trials for passage coins. There isn't really anything you can do though except hope you get a decent drop out of it or hope you get opponents willing to compete next match.
