The best thing to use against the broodmother is a high level Giganotosaurus. This is coming from someone that has been playing it on PC since September. If you don't already know, the Giganotosaurus is capable of going into rage mode. This rage mode upgrades its health regeneration, melee damage, stamina, and movement speed. Once it reaches this rage mode it is nearly impossible to kill. The only problem is that when the Giganotosaurus goes into rage mode it will turn against anything in its tribe and it will throw off any player riding it. The best thing to do is to allow it to fight the broodmother itself and you just sit back and watch. I recommend having it over lvl 200. At this lvl it can take on the broodmother alone and can take an extremely large amount of time to get to low health. It can literately one shot every single Araneo the Broodmother spawns. Of course though, if you feel doubtful about this whole situation, then it is best to not even do it. I will post a link of someone on youtube completing this task.

Two things about this: Nobody in my server has a giga yet Nobody was prepared for this fight I would have certainly had a giga there if I had one and was able to move it across the map in preparation. I certainly intend to tame a giga at some point, I just need to farm quetzal eggs. Currently, I have a rex egg farm, which I plan to use to gather 2 more quetzals. When I have 2 more quetzals, I'll have 2 females and a male, and over time, I hope to gather quetzal eggs to tame a giga. It might be another month before that happens though..

  • If you didn't know already the saddle is Lvl 85. You farming quetzal eggs is a really good idea considering the giganotosaurus is hard to tame even at Lvl 1. I highly recommend that you bring at least one person to help you tame it. Even the greatest players have difficulties taming the giganotosaurus. Keep up the good work man and don't let your guard down. :)

With a bit of convincing and some extra materials, I may be able to get them to make me a giga saddle. The level 82/83 is in one of those tribes I listed in my OP. Our tribes get along great, plus they love to trade and help others. Only problem is; they dont want a giga, it scares them lol, so they may not even get the engram for the giga saddle. This is why I may have to offer 2000 ingots or something just as incentive lol I do intend to bring a friend when taming, if not two friends lol. Once knocked out, ill have a friend keep an eye on torpor and work the narcotics while I build a wall around the giga, just to keep threats away from us and our giga. I usually build a thatch barrier around anything I tame for that exact reason, but in this case, im most likely going to use wood. Not taking chances. Im going to get it done, its my endgame goal. And thanks dude, I will keep doing what Im doing. Oh and trust me, I never let my guard down. This is Ark, where shit happens lol
