Aiming down sights with this weapon makes the accumulated charge to dissipate slowly instead of discharging completely when releasing the trigger.
Description: Life´s short... at the other side of the cannon.
Stats:
High impact
Very low charge rate
Decent range
Very good stability
5 shots
slow recharge speed
good swapping speed
very good Aim Assist
Superb Handling
This FR is designed around aiming down sights waiting for an enemy to come at you, in the meanwhile you are preparing the charge, the visuals on the gun will help you to estimate the actual charge, blue is a cold charge at low % of charge, and red a hot charge at very high % of charge, which will gradually change color depending on the charge.
Not a run and gun weapon, because of its low charge rate and slow reload speed and average capacity, but more like a hit and run weapon. As you will kill your prey and move to safety and prepare another ambush.
Being forced to aim down sights, means that you should be very aware of your enviroment, as you will not have the chance to use your radar.
It would be an excellent weapon in the crucible in the hands of an expert player, but in pve is not the best option.

It'd be cool if they made a fusion rifle with shot package but when you aim down sights, it fires one devastating bullet. (Just like sleeper)

i'd be that hunter with dance machines and this thing constantly revved up in ads so i could discharge it like a shotgun

It would be better if it had hidden hand, range finder, or third eye or..
A FREAKING MIDA RADAR YEAH LET'S GO!
I thought about that, but those perks doesn´t work well in the archetype of the weapon. Hidden hand: You can actually make use of this perk, but chances are you are already looking in the direction of where the opponent might come from, so little to no aim assist is required. Range finder: This weapon is not meant to engage at long distances, the reason to have good range in this weapon is to accelerate the speed of the bolts, but the difference it makes is very little to notice. Third eye: This perk should be reserved for prymary guns only. And if i add this perk as a hidden one, it would be pretty broken in PvP, that is why i designed this gun to reward map knowledge, good ear, and enviroment awareness. But yeah, a secondary weapon with third eye is something to look for...maybe a sniper rifle with extended radar while aiming downsights, like you can see whats around 30-60 meters ahead of you, but not what is next to you...

This weapon makes me think a lot about pocket infinity
