Video games can be a sport. The people that play these games are not athletes though. There is a difference.

i think the MOBA championships would beg to differ. and be willing to throw a few dozen "e athletes", as well sponsors, and a couple million dollars in revenue and prize potential behind it.

Need I also remind you that hunting is also a sport, as are some other less than desirable, and more questionable activities. If you don't want esports to carry the sport tag, thats fine, I would rather it not be associated with sports anyway.

Developing and honing muscle memory, reflexes, hand eye coordination, timing, thinking and acting strategically on your feet as a team or on your own all sound pretty competitive... If you wanted reason why it could be classified as a sport I just gave them. If you wanted to just make a statement without allowing counter arguments then that's your own ignorance getting in your way. Good luck with that if that's the case, and I'll stop wasting my time on your useless opinion. (Again, that's only if yours is the ladder)

Board games are not sports. I'm not debating anything. I'm stating fact. If you think video games, game shows and board games are a sport, then I feel sorry for you.

It can make you look like an ass. Btw when you can compete against others from a wheelchair as equals and I still kick their ass it's a win in my book.
