For all the dumbshits that say "look another scrub hunter complaining" Check all my characters my Warlock is my most played and 1st created character you ignorant assholes . Trust me i know when something is OP because ive played that class for days .
Look im an experienced player whos played all classes , but there's one in particular that's overpowered and thats the Sunsingers , Viking Funeral and Firebolt needs to be toned down by ALOT , when im hit by ONE grenade i lose my shield and my health bar is halfed which makes an easy kill , these nades take little to no skill to use , an appropriate fix for these nades is removing Viking Funeral and adding a perk for Farther Range , and im tired of these firebolts hitting me through walls . Please up this post 🐩
80 Initial Damage i believe , 77 Burn Damage with Viking Funeral and Touch of Flame , ability to hit Multiple players at once , the range is stupid , and the nerds who use lag swtiches or have 3G hotspots have the ability to hit you through walls and curve around corners .
But you know thats not OP at all , not even mentioning your position is revealed for a whole 11 seconds , oh god don't even start with 2 or 3 warlocks using it in a Trials match 😷
If someone can counter my post and provide facts on how its not OP please reply below , but don't say its not OP because you don't want it nerfed .
Don't even mention "learn to dodge or counter it" if that's the case then why were the Sunbreakers Nerfed ?? All you had to do was dodge them ??

They can't hit you thru walls, but yes they most certainly are OP. They are, by far, the best grenade in the game. Not only is the range excellent on the initial zap, but VF and ToF allow for 11 seconds of x7 damage while simultaneously giving away your position for that entire time, leaving you unable to start recovery, and leaves you absolute. I get one of these every 28 seconds. By the time you recover from this grenade, I am over halfway to the next one. But how do we fix these grenades while still making them a viable and strong option? Two things: 1. Damage falloff from the initial zap. Honestly, this should be a thing already for all bolt grenades. 2. Viking funeral still extends the damage of the touch of flame, [b]BUT[/b] it halves the damage of each tick to x3 so that overall damage is the same as regular touch but gives the user additional position knowledge and prevents recovery. BOOM. Bungie, hire me.

I think they should do the same damage but faster so you don't burn as long. It's the length of the burn that's stupid.

Seriously? I play a warlock all 3 subclasses and the sunsingers fire bolt grenades they are by no means over powered they glitch out sometimes and don't work the other times unlike the hunters skip grenades that follow you for friggin ever the rang on those need to be nerfed

They could do two things 1. Remove Viking Funeral and put it on an exotic 2. Restrict Voidfang to Voidwalker class Either way then you have more of a strategic decision to make

It takes three slots on the skill tree to use firebolts w/ burn. Hitting through walls isn't the class's fault, it's the person who's lagging. Thorn and any Nightstalker can see you through walls. They were nerfed in 2.0. They're literally the only viable grenade for the class. Sure, you can get kills with solar grenades. But they aren't reliable. Fusions? If all warlocks used that, people would complain that they're more OP than flux or magnetic grenades. Angel of light is useless unless you're VERY skilled with it. Gift of the sun and two firebolts won't kill someone. So burn is obviously the better choice. Radiant will is okay to use, but getting about 4 seconds more of a super isn't that good compared to being able to burn someone. Brimstone or sunburst or whatever is useless. I understand Firebolts/ToF+VF is difficult to fight against. But the class is so poorly optimized for PvP that it's the only viable options available.

Im so tired of people bitching about warlocks being able to see where a person under the effects of burn is for the duration of the burn. Nightstalkers get that ability with any damage to a player. And shadestep. Shadestep > all other perks for competitive pvp. Hands down.

I barely play on Warlock. Since Titan is mostly my main character. But when I realised how easy it is to make kills with it. I decided to make that my 3rd choice. Cuz of the amount of matches I go positive playing on my Warlock is pretty high. Beside that I get sick and tired of burning away from a Firebolt grenade right when a Trials match starts. It takes zero skill too run up, throw a grenade and end it off with a bodyshot. Even worse being rushed over by 3 -blam!-ing Warlocks. Before the patch I loved playing with Sunbreaker. It was overpowered. I completely agreed. Thats why they nerfed it. So I just dont get why they dont bring Warlocks too the same level. I've been reading a few replies on this topic. It's pretty much only people complaining since they're scared to lose their op grenade which makes them go flawless all the time. I'm almost sure most of them are warlocks aswell. Beside this topic about 'Firebolt grenade is op' theres also another thing thats pissing me off and that's called 'Smoke grenades'. But i'm not even gonna talk about these.. Hopefully these are gonna get nerfed aswell. Cuz I think they're even worse..

I hope you realise that if firebolt grenades with the burn were to be removed or nerf to the point of uselessness, you would be left with a subclass significantly worse than defender.
