Kicked from party for being Australian
So last night I joined a raid group on my 320 warlock with five randoms we land and wipe I speak and someone says yo pimp you an Aussie I'm like yep there like we can't play with Aussies man some one says kick him, upon expecting to be kicked the dumbass promotes me to leader....gave a quick wave and kicked all these scrubby kids found five more guardians and did the whole raid from totems without a wipe....received some hate mail from the other guys but I was just thanked them for a cp hahaha
Must be something wrong with Australians day one player here and have Never had this happen

I live in Sweden and have joined Australian raid groups (due to me being rubbish at sleeping and being awake at stupid hours), it was lag free. I judge it from person to person. I've played with uk groups where the lag was ridiculous and they're not that far from here.

Played with Aussies in the VoG and CE days (I'm on the East Coast of the US). I suppose there was [i]some[/i] lag, but there's always lag. It's unavoidable, and the lag doesn't always equate to the distance between players. Best days were those days. The people were worth more than the game. Still talk to them over FB. So I guess what I'm saying is: If you couldn't ever form a friendship with the people you raid with, then they're not ever worth your time. Lag be damned. It's one of the main reasons I left Destiny after TTK. One shitty team after the other...only one was really chill, but the clan they started was attracting some really, really scrubby players. But meh...

Maybe they didn't want to deal with cross pacific lag? I know from experience that things can get real interesting when playing with players from a different continent, heck you sometimes see fishy stuff when playing with players from opposite sides of the United States. If that is the case, they could've handled it a little more diplomatically or at least gave it a shot first to see if lag was going to be a problem.

Ill let you know the issue. Its called lag. If you play some1 far away. Or have some1 w a nat type 3 or shit like that. Its going to make the game lag so bad for everyone except yourself.And i have noticed that when playing people from the uk or europe etc. And having 2 makes it worse. Ive never said anything to them. I try it until they leave. I joined a group of euros. I was the only guy in the american region and as soon as we joined the raid. Everyone kept getting booted from game. Someone had a nat 3 issue. So i left the group. Hope you understand the issue. Its not that we hate people from across the world. Its a matter of issues that revolve in destiny. Flaws. Etc. Thats why matchmaking would be necessary in raids..

Sure enough, when we're in Golgoroth's Cellar, one of them takes me to corner to show me his "calcified fragments." I turn my back for one second, and he's got his Black Hammer out.
