Why is black spindle so hard!?

I completed the mission with two 13 yr old British kids. We had no Titan bubble, no exotic swords, and we were all around light 300-305. I learned that the single most important thing you can do is take care of the blights before you start damaging the boss.

2 Replies1. Blessing Bubble at the boss's feet. 2. Everyone should exotic sword him up (dark drinker/ raze lighter), this takes not even 1 minute. 3. Get rid of blights. 4. Get rid of big ads (centurions, knights, captains). 5. Get rid of all the psions. 6. When i did this first go (first ever attempt) we had around 2-3 minutes spare and we were all below 310 light. It works if you have 1 exotic sword and 2 legendary swords it will just take more time. I cant think of any way thats easier really.

I got the opportunity to go through it with him and another guardian last night and we did it in one run(and I got the ship!). It helps to have a Sherpa giving you cues and allowing you to focus on fewer things (ie. Boss or blights) . Next time! ;) [spoiler]We did not use bubbles nor swords[/spoiler]

12 Replies1. Take out all the blights. 2. Kill EVERY add in the room (even the difficult ones). 3. Attack boss 4. Call out add respawn, and immediately stop attacking the boss 5. Start over at #1. The common mistake people make (including myself until I finally figured it out) is paying too much attention to the boss. Just pretend like he's not even there while you go about clearing the ENTIRE room. The key to this whole thing is being able to clear adds fast, especially the elemental shielded ones, which is the hardest part. Coordinate with teammates to make sure you've got all the elements covered.

Want an easy way to do it? My brother did this on a lower light character and the team still beat it faster than with me- Use Defender Titan Use Raze-lighter Use Armor of light When you have the bubble ready, run up and set your bubble. Then spam the special move and use all your ammo. Wait to get super again by killing some stuff, use heavy ammo synth, set up bubble and repeat. He'll probably be dead by then. Afterwards y'all can focus on killing the rest of the enemies

Go in at 280 but with maxed weapons, it makes the enemies easier.

I don't blame you, I haven't even beaten it myself, but Black Spindle is a remake of one of the communities most prized weapon. Of course it's hard.
