They love your $, not you.

I absolutely love looking online at news about Bungievision's "Drinkenshtein" aka Destiny every few months. And right after I read the damning articles, I enjoy coming back on here and reading the forums. I usually get a very good laugh out of it--today was no different. So many people on here are oblivious. Plenty of you know EXACTLY what's going on and are mad af. If you enjoy this game that's cool--but there's been so much muffed up stuff going on with Bungie and Activision that I don't see how or why one would want to support these crooks, given how they treat their customers. "How happy are you with your gaming experience, scale of 1-5?" ...Can I answer a question with a question?...How many people- fans and employees alike- has Bungievision burned in this Destiny debacle? (Millions). You simply can't burn THAT many people and expect widespread praise and adoration (and patience) for a stale product at best, that doesn't even begin to live up to its hype and budget. (They lied continuously). They know they have failed because $ ain't what it was "supposed" to be! (And why is that? Because the customer is always right, and they didn't listen to you the customer during the process of this game. It should be an on-going convo, not the dev telling you why you're wrong in wanting things fixed!) How do some of you still not see what they are doing?! It's plain as day. They make all this new content, then they ask themselves "how much of this can we literally cut out and sell to them down the road without them knowing/going ape shit?"-and then they dime it out as best they can, lately with a focus on micro transactions I would assume. This has been their way since Day 1. Why would you want to support this? The model is flawed. How do you derive satisfaction continually giving $ to a team that doesn't listen to you? They make changes you don't want and don't tell you about it--and refuse to do what you want to do because their "philosophies" don't allow for it. They're asking if you like the game in that email because they know you don't anymore, but want some data to show Activision "See! See! People DO like it! We just need more funding!" ($500 mil wasn't enough...?) They say they listen to you on here--they'll put your wishes on a wish list for maybe Santa to help with!-but they won't do a damn thing about it. They only listen to Supreme Leader Bobby Kotick. So why bother? Final little thought: I see that after over a year and THOUSANDS of people being vocally pissed off, Bungie's answer to optional matchmaking is to have away messages available on the app/site. I must admit this is a step in right direction...but that's a stop-gap and not a permanent fix! In fact that alternative was suggested by Lost Sols and others YEARS (read: multiple yearS) ago--to which Bungie said there was no need for it. I honestly thought they would have optional matchmaking supported by now--clearly they are in WAY over their heads. Screwed if they do, screwed if they don't. You coulda put a12 year old kid in charge as decision-maker for what makes it into the game and the outcome would have been far better than what you have now. Here's to hoping all you sane folks quit playing this game so that as a whole gamers can send a message to the industry: that if devs wanna act like Bungievision, then they won't succeed.

Bungie and activision made enough money at the release to hire a ton of talented devs and other people who could've made destiny the most fantastic game out there by now, but instead they chose not to do any of that. They chose to over work the people they already have and rush out bugged content just to get our money. Dying light is releasing a dlc next week that has twice the content of the base game for $20 with the money and resources that activision alone has destiny could've been one of the greatest games ever, I don't care to pay for content if it's worth it, but bungie and activision chose to charge as much as they possibly could for as little content as they could get away with, I mean half the guns in the game are exactly the same with different names, and don't even get me started on the ships, they threw some bones on atheon's ship and called it crota's ship.....come on!
