How many bad games to call it quits?
Everyone has their bad games, there's no denying that but I'm interested in finding out how many consecutive bad games it takes before you tell yourself to step away and come back later for another go.
I'm trying to get all my characters to a 1.5 kd or better no real reason, I just like to have a goal. I started on my titan (now at 1.63) moved to my warlock now (currently 1.39) and then I'll go back to my hunter, I used to only play hunter but haven't since October.
Personally if I have 3 games that I do terrible in it's no longer fun and I lose confidence that I'll play that awesome 3kd plus match so I will play something else for awhile, just wondering how other people looked at this.

I try to avoid crucible at all costs, which sucks because that's one of the few ways to get half decent gear that you hardly get from strikes anymore. Too many people that try too hard. Plus, Warlock grenades don't do crap.

I play until that .3 or .7 K/D the end turns into a 1.5+, then I close Destiny. I never want to end my pvp time on a sour note.

1 Reply3 late games in a row, 3 games with a 2.0+ kd with nobody else on my team over 1, 3 games against a fireteam, or a combination of one from each is enough to get me out of crucible for the rest of the day.

Many times once the match starts tanking I just just use the rest of the match to test weapons and strategies. Try a new gun I was curious about. Attempt sniping, etc. Makes things nice while I'm waiting for the time to run out

Pretty much until it's no longer fun. That's how I am with every online MP game. Depending on what game it is and how bad/how much BS is going on that could be anywhere from 5 deaths in to an hr or so

I never stop unless I start lagging (stupid aussie internet). If I'm on a losing streak I change my set up and playstyle.

1 ReplyI think, I call it quits when my opponent takes no damage when shooting him in the face. That happened to me on a recent elimination match where I got 0 kills. cant get any worst than that. I wont play crucible till these new updates and damage referees are up and running.

2 RepliesIf I have 3 bad games in a row, im off to patrol. I have days where all my matches are between 1-3 kd. Then days where I get .5-.8 consistently. I dont know why the disparity exists. Some days I just suck

Lately it's been all bad match ups where my team is lower tiered and the enemy is pro status. If you wish to see what I am talking about, you can check some of my recent games and see where I perform alright but my teammates can't keep up and that messes my game up.
