Try the help section, there's a way to perform a reset but I'm not sure how to start it on a PS.

Thanks, yep have already tried it, has not helped.

Another suggestion if you haven't done it, set up a static IP on your console and make sure your router is good. Run a bandwidth test from speedtest.net and make sure your download speed is up to snuff and if its not be sure to contact your ISP.
