So I just picked up an elite controller and I'm currently trying to prepare myself for the steep learning curve of adjusting to the paddles. I was hoping some fellow destiny players who have utilized the elite controller could give some tips and or just their own preference to the button layout and paddles. i.e 2 or 4 paddles, what actions to map to each paddle.

2 RepliesYou could try this- Remap right thumbstick click to crouch (like Battlefield). Map a right paddle to A for jump. Map a left paddle to X for reload. You don't need much more than this I think.

1 ReplyI just use one eXtra paddle on mine (gettit?)

1 ReplyI use only two of paddels. Both on the right, one for jump and the other for reload. I also use the trigger lock on tg e right for a shorter trigger pull but not on the left for aiming cause it slows down your sparrow

1 ReplyEdited by pebbz: 1/26/2016 1:52:39 PMTop paddles (smaller ones) Left - B (shadestep, crouch, Garrison) Right - A (jump whole still aiming bc I never used bumper jumper) Some of my friends use the revive on the right instead of jump I'm still learning it though bc I just got it last weekend

You can set up more then 1 config option, I myself usually run 2 paddles, A on the left and either X or B on the right depending on what I am playing or what style of guns I am using. I also change the stick sensitivity to Smooth. I find the lower 2 paddles to be in a bad position, it is hard to keep a good grip on the controller with out constantly hitting the bottom 2 paddles so I usually only have the top 2 paddles on.
