It's been said before, but to confirm, you was shooting at a player who had been disconnected. Likely sitting looking at a black screen with an error code. Unfortunately the game hadn't updated to remove the character from the game on your end yet.

  • Possibly...but then WHY is he still in game. Another example of missing the point. The net code is NOT doing its job. simple as that.

  • That is your answer in a nut shell. Bad net code for one, and 2 the peer to peer matchmaking instead of dedicated servers.

  • I don't think Dedicated is the way to go....but they have to at least improve what we have... :/

  • dedicated servers won't solve all the issues no. It should improve things, but you would still have ping or travel time for the info. So they would have to implement dedicated servers on the east coast, west coast Europe, asia, ect. While no fix, it should bring about a better performance for most players. Though the net code would still have to improve. Of course a player with a bad connection would still make the server laggy.
