Variety? We have been killing the same 4 enemy types since release, (TTK just made them black and white) Variety ? The same strikes over and over, or played backwards, or played with diffrent enemies out of the 4 enemy types Variety ? PvP has a pathetic amount of modes(that aren't always available), No Custom game options,no bare bones options, and no Faction wars 6vs6 and 6vs6vs6 Variety ? 3 classes , 3 Factions ...../Zoinks Variety ? Factions don't mean a damn thing. Just another wasted opportunity. Variety? Raids...The game Only has 3 six player group zones..(errr I mean Raids zones) ...MMO games have 12 to 72 player raids and usually between 6 to 7 raid zones at release, and another 4 to 6 raid zones added In each Expansion. Destiny has 1 Raid that is worth playing at the moment, because the other 2 are Obsolete. Variety ? There is an area in the game called POE , it was rendered 99% useless. Variety? The same hand full of Bounties you pick up at the tower ? Lol, variety. Variety ? ...The story?(or more honestly the Lack of one) that is beyond Generic in every way . Variety ? Nathan Fillion playing himself (again) repeating the same damn lines over and over until your even sick of him (and I actually like the guy , but the repetitiveness in every aspect of this game even wears Nathan thin) Variety ? The Over auto tuned voiced Ghost that sounds like a 12 year old girl on helium, that they wasted More money by using a well known Voice actor only to completely negate his voice acting by over sampling him into a high pitched generic Robot. That endlessly repeats himself over and over and over Variety ? You mean all that Lore in the game ? Oh right there is no Lore in the actual game. Variety ? You mean like all the ways we have to communicate in-game ? Like a lobby hang out area ? Or a chat box we could type to each other ? Or the 3 emotes we get to try to have some semblance of Interaction in this souless realm. ( You could buy more, but thats throwing good money after Bad,,,,,lol the money will go back into the game ,haha.. hahaha.. HahaHaHaaa ha...ahhh sucker born every minute) Variety ? You mean like an in-game friends list where I can seperate my good friends, my clan mates,and general players I have been in good groups with. Variety ? You mean like tools to create Custom Clan Emblems and Patches and Armor colors and Ship and Sparrow colors ? Variety? You mean like being able to play every area of the game and choose 300+ light level difficulty ? , sure would be fun to patrol the Cosmodrome,the Moon,Mars etc... And be able to Atleast have a semi challanging time of it . Same for all the Strikes and POE, we should be able to play them all at 300+ light level difficulty Variety ? You mean like a Ton of quests givers out in the Open world , that you interact with and get some actual Random and Quest chains off of every week. Variety ? You mean like all Enemies Always spawning from the Same Exact Location in Dungeons Every Fudging Time... Variety? You mean like all of the Option you have to change,remove,reposition,resize your HUD ? Or have options of Different HUD layouts all together , or atleat a few different optional pieces to swap. Variety ? You mean like the ability to turn off any auto aim and aim assist functions in the game like some people prefer to do? and Other FPS Games allow you to turn it off ( hell even BattleFront let's you turn it off , and that's the most casual brainless next gen shooter out there) Variety ? You mean like the ability to choose where to land on each planet instead of landing in The same spot every time , and having to waste time sparrowing across half the continent to get where you want to be , instead of just flying down from space to the exact area you want to be in This game is extremely lacking in so many areas it is not even sadly funny. Variety my a'sscrack! Do people spend hours playing? yes they do , part of the reasons for that are grouping with Friends and Guildies. Wasting Hours in raids trying to go through Apps and Web pages to find reliable people to fill spots(what an Ingame Party finder/creator is to simple a concept for Bungue in a Group Based MMO'esk game?) Helping other random players. Hours spent treveling th game ( the Dread Naught is smaller than any other Outside playable area) , it justs seems larger than it is becuase you have to Run every where, no sparrow allowe, more time wasted in-game And so much time wasted in The endless grind because of 100% RANDOM LOOT DROPS. The gun play is very good in the game, it could be a little better if they would tighten up the size of hitboxes and tweak auto aim and aim assist to be just barely noticable ( that's what it's suppose to be) and if they got ride of RANDOM.spread and made gun play more skill based off of Recoil control. The Art work in the game is Very atmospheric in almost all places, and there I give a round of applause to the art team, they 100% Nailed it . To bad the level designers suck at populating the game , and fail Hard at making use of these incredible Vistas and Dungeons with sadly thought out patterns and boring AI's and boring Bosses and Worst of all the horrendously over used Horde Mode .... All in all, Destiny is a 5/10 game , time spent playing does not equal quality time or a Quality game, it just means in (Destiny's case ) that you put up with The Over abundance of Bad things, for the very small ratio of good things the game does right .

The Destiny praisers are out in full force lately. As the ship sinks, they cling ever harder to it.
