Unwinnable game.
Same as with Challenge Mode loot.
Make the Hard mode weapons demonstratbly better than those available in the Normal raid.....and those who feel they are getting locked out of participating because of what is going on in LFG will be pissed.
Make the only difference a power difference....and players like yourself complain because they don't feel special enough.
No-win situation for Bungie.

It's not a no-win situation. If Bungie were to implement the changes I've suggested, or even take the easier alternative and just boost the stats of the Harrowed Raid Weapons by 5% - 10% ... I highly doubt LFG will suffer the outrages you've highlighted. The King's Fall weapons in their entirety, are decent at best. An extremely far cry from the Raid Weapons we were blessed with in VOG. They are by no means required for a successful Raid, even on Challenge Mode. Hung Jury, 1KYS, & a High Impact Machine Gun are usually more than enough for a good run. I don't think I've ever stumbled across any LFG post that have required Guardians to have a particular Raid Weapon, lest they be excluded, be it VOG, Crota's End, or King's Fall. If anything has created an uproar on LFG Sites, it would be Touch of Malice & Black Spindle (which most players have obtained by this point) ... and I doubt anyone will ever forget Gjallarhorn's legacy, back in Year 1. All of which, mind you, are not Raid Weapons. If Bungie had no intention of altering/improving gear from the Hard Mode loot table to make the chase for it more enticing, (aside from changing the color scheme) then why even borrow with having a Harrowed Set? They might as well just have used the Normal gear with increased Light, since that's the only significant difference between the two.
