Require players to change loadouts!
Penalize players and lock them out of their game every 60 mins, unless they refresh and change their guns! It would encourage weapon diversity...

Ironically enough, this would actually ruin weapon diversity for me since I already main weapons that pretty much don't exist in the Crucible. So no, not really a good idea.

Shaxx weekly bounties encourage diversity. The real players do these bounties and don't need a 60 minute rule.

You really didn't think it through did you? All I would have to do is switch my gun out for a second and I would get around that. No other game does that because it is an incredibly idiotic idea that could be easily beaten. There will ALWAYS be a gun that stands out. This time around it is MIDA which the devs say is performing as intended.

Ok so everyone is a lil bit testy with that idea, but I remember a variant that I used to like playing back in the Halo days. Does anyone remember Swat? Battle rifles and hand cannons, one shot to the dome was all it took. Could be fun?

That is just dumb. Just make a playlist with a base auto,pulse,scout, or hand cannon. A base shotgun, sniper, or fusion. Then no heavy. You pick your weapon choice for primary and special. No supers, grenades, and only base melees. Boom skill based pvp.
