What's up with eris?

Ok now I know this may be a little bit of a stretch, but just hear me out. So at the end of the story we see eris on the dreadnaught and she picks up the shard from oryx's sword, and thats how the sword quest comes to be right? Now there's a couple of things that rub me the wrong way 1) how did she get there 2) how long was she there 3) why was she there Now let's break these down 1) how did she get there. I'm the campaign we use her ship and Cades stealth drive to get onto the dreadnaught. Her ship was destroyed and later we hear cade talk about telling her about it. So she has to hAve had another ship right? This transitions beautifully into my side note. Think about when we steal crotas essence (ew). She teleports the gaurdian away from danger thanks to tolands journal (keep this inmind for later) so who's to say she hasnt been Practicing tolands magic. 2) how long was she there Now let's take a step back and see what happened before. We killed oryx and saved the day temporarily. And we can rule out that she just showed up afterwards bc that's dumb. She had to have known about where the sword was. About the crystal. Everything. Buuut if she was there when oryx was there, Wouldn't she freak out? After all, crota killed her friends, right? That's what we are lead to believe. But people aren't always truthful. 3) why was she there We can all agree that oryx and crota were powerful if you follow lore. Able to channel the darkness themselves (see oryx's clap). That type of stuff would be slim pickings for. Lowly hunter like herself. Plus she seems to be familiar with oryx a whole lot. And let's nit forget we rarely hear about how her fireteam perished, we hear about how ariana underestimated the thrall, but ariana had 5 other gaurdians with her, so how did they overpower her? It would only be if her fireteam abandoned her right? Or maybe just her fireteam leader....see where this is going? 4) summary My theory is that eris saw the might that oryx crota, toland, and all the other Rouge vanguard had and she wanted it. She wanted it to the point that she sabatoged the mission, purposefully killing off her fireteam bc she knew they would try to stop her. Crota got the better of her and she lived among the hive, not thriving, but learning. Watching their rituals. Seeing the might they possess. She knew the light was her way, but not as her salvation, but her pawn. Think about it. What did crota do other than kill her friends? Sure he was a problem. But to the point of diverging from fighting the darkness? She's using the gaurdians to do her work for her. Now she has tolands journal as well. There's no telling how far this plan will go. As previously stated this is all mere speculation from someone who has a bit too much free time on their hands. Feel free to post below your thoughts or contributions. Edit: let me start off by saying I'm glad that people are taking interest in this theory. It's always the bad Girls we fall for. Let's me clear something up about the idea that she killed her fireteam. I'm aware that there are pieces of armor that reference how her team died. (I also said ariana was killed by thrall, this is not the case, this was made in a hurry sorrynotsorry) BUT. Who would have had to relayed that info? As well we can't say "oh they took them away" bc we know what happened. So why didn't she help? Bc it's referenced that the comms to the tower were cut off. And plus the idea is more of a means to sow up a loose end, and isn't the main focus of the theory, it could be that ot happened and thats why she wants the power, to resurrect her team. And once again it's all just speculation. I WILL however do more research, bc Osiris himself knows I'm wildly unqualified to be making alot of these claims.
