Bear with me.... When they said TTK was bringing all new weapons I was happy. I thought, 'Man it's going to be nice to have some variety and stop using my worn out stuff.' I thought there would be actual vendors of the guns in the tower: omolon, suros, hakke tables in the tower. Instead they did this stupid thing with the gunsmith and made us all use his shitty test weapons for time gated exotics that hardly anyone used really. Ok Tlaloc is good... And they made us grind the same strikes over and again for these new weapons. They said we would be finding green and blue guns again and have to level up, etc. I was thinking it would be like vanilla and take a longer amount of time. It didn't. Blues and greens were useless in a matter of days. Which brings us to crucible, because we have exhausted all pve content yet again. Was it fun, yeah. But it didn't last nearly as long as it could have and it became very repetitious. Now we fight each other. And that WAS awesome. Until they came out with these patches. And this latest patch by far is the worst one to date. Shotguns nerfed? Fix your armor stat and simply go prancing up to your enemy and use a shotty. PRs nerfed...and we can't even use a PR at this point. Everyone was loving their Nerwins because finally there was a point to ranking up IB... Not anymore. Which has led us to this post and your question of 'should Y1 crucible return.' No. I don't think it should return. The current problem with Destiny in general is that Bungie creates a way to get good stuff. You use and get good with that stuff. Then they nerf that stuff into the ground and you don't want to use that stuff anymore. Hammer bros anyone? Bungie is breaking their own game. This all started when the crucible designers put those boxes on Blind Watch. Remember that? Why? Cause they can't make a Demetrius's balanced map? Cause players aren't good enough not to go charging through that door? Because they don't know how to flank? Bottom line is at this point the mets sucks ass and we are all bored to tears.
