I think moldering shards should be a form of currency. After you have collected said amount you can go to eris morn and buy the 320 gauntlets or whatever that never drop for you. Have one currency for hard and one for normal mode. 2 normal =1 hard. If something like this was implemented then I think the drops are fine how they are. I also think challenge mode is a great feature and hope it stays for later raids. Guaranteed 320 drops but not an instant 320 character after beating it. It helped a lot of people cross the 315-317 gap. Another idea is maybe make 5 moldering shard be able to raise the attack or defense of any item by 1 point.
