Everyone is wasting money on the log book as its only volume 1. You will have to purchase another book when the next event comes around and all the previous armour will be obsolete.

Well yeah no kidding. If they aren't afraid to do it to raid gear and exotics then no doubt nothing will carry over to anything, especially smaller events! I spent the money because I've throughly enjoyed SRL. Wanted to show support of it.

That'd be terrible if that's their plan! They should merely make the next event's armor a new design, but keep both sets Infuse-able so that you can wear whichever you find cooler.

No fear here, lol. I would shell out money like crazy if they sold super badass armor for Silver, but only if it could be infused to the regular defense required to play the bloody game.

I have no doubt in my mind they are trying to achieve something of that sort. Lets be for real it's activision and im more then sure destiny will soon have something similar to supply drops the rng and the light level is the perfect set up for it. But that would be p2w and if they want to implement that it would have to be subtle patch per patch so save up your bread soon you be rolling for that 320 or w.e gear from tess for 5 $ for the pop
