It's fine if people are under 310 if they know what to do and have decent weapons. But 310+ allows for a higher chance of getting players with a lot of experience. Some people don't have the time to wipe over and over so they adjust their requirements so that even if they don't get great players, those players will still have the light to try and hold their own.
