So a warlock res'd on me, last night, as the last guardian standing. I rocketed him in the face from a distance not too far, but enough to avoid the splash damage. The warlock walked through the blast, and melee killed me... Umm, that should not happen.
Edit.. It was a direct hit...
Edit: I have been informed that due to G&H it most likely detonated early. Thus only causing splash damage and not full impact on a-hole warlock. ;) Thanks everyone. Sorry it took me a minute to understand what you were telling me.

like this? http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/chillenious/video/15852315

Same thing with a Sunbreaker.
-
That's perfectly fine. If it were a direct hit it would have killed. If the Warlock had Radiant Skin on he would have survived even a direct impact rocket - which is fine. You just sound salty.
-
Do some book learning bro all supers can survive em http://youtu.be/Fu6rVyQ3gUo

Edited by Winter: 11/29/2015 4:24:02 PMI notice that aswell. G&H cause less damage due to detonated early.
-
Guess what bro go watch Dattos vid and see a rocket doesn't kill any of the supers. Also direct hits are different than the ground beneath their feet

No video

How far away did he melee you to death? Lol
-
That if it happened is this games lag. I had many times when I was certain that I had a dead bang with a shotgun only to see no damage and wind up dead from the other player's shotgun you know how the little map there works. In the end of the day it is about lag not OP supers. There is often for some reason these days incredible lag even when you don't see the red bar.

Maybe he was using radiant skin.

Edited by Silver-Ritsu: 11/29/2015 3:27:21 PMPerhaps you or he was/were lagging, could be a possibility
-
Was he wearing the ram helmet? I think there's a chance of overshield with that one that can trigger on a resurrection. I know when I wear it, I survive things sometimes that should not be avoidable.

Edited by Kage Goomba: 11/29/2015 3:21:12 PMA: Likely had armor with resist for element type B: Res grants insta-regen over a short period of time C: You missed (lag) D: You shot too soon :P Conclusion - use Truth next time
-
Either it wasn't a direct hit or grenade and horseshoes for him
-
You could have hit them before the animation ended and the immunity deactivates.
-
Must have been lag or something A direct hit kills any super Maybe not sun breaker I haven't tried it
-
Edited by twofoeone-__-: 11/29/2015 1:52:28 PMWasn't a direct hit then.
-
Rockets do impact damage as well as explosion damage, the former only factors in if you land a direct hit. If a 50% damage reduction super like a fireborn warlock or a bladedancer is hit by both explosion & impact damage, they die.

Only direct hits will kill supers.
