Hand cannons and questions

Quick question guys, I was leaving this game and then got sucked back in when I started to farm for the hand cannons. Now I have a dilemma. I now have: IMAGO LOOP Truesight is Rescue mag Feather mag Firefly WATERSTAR Suresight is Rangefinder Reinforced barrel Hidden hand FINNALAS PERIL Sureshot is Partial refund Smallbore Grenadier EYASLUNA Steady hand is, fast draw is, QuickDraw is Rangefinder Snap draw, braced frame, feather mag Grenadier I use gauntlets with handcannon fast reloads with all set ups. I'm barely positive in pvp and was looking for which one of these guys would be best to dominate in this meta. Plus which would you use for pve? Day one player and have always used fatebringer and have been searching for an replacement since forever. Any comments would be very much appreciated. Positive or negative. Fire away guardians.

Finnala's peril, I took it for a testdrive in free for all & went 23/11. Mine has nice perks oh...... IMPACT! Just got it to 320. Gota field test it in iron banner.

  • I have been waiting for Eyasluna and a nice roll dropped for me so I am psyched.... True sight/Sureshot, Outlaw, Rifled barrel/Braced frame and Reactive reload.

  • Your water star is probably going to be the best for pvp. I love my hc too, I have a Luna with rangefinder, rifled barrel and hidden hand. Shoots almost as well as pre nerf hand cannons. If you get a better Luna, that gun handles pretty nicely even nos and I would suggest going to that if rng blesses you.

      • Honestly wait until the December patch. Right now handcannons are garbage and I'm a die hard handcannon user. The reduction in their range severely nurfed accuracy also. As it stands you can have shots perfectly aimed and in the perfect range and thanks to rng you miss. Sometimes ..m OK quite often this can happen multiple times in a row. Usually resulting in your death and your opponent taking minimal if any damage. The December update is increasing handcannon accuracy so hopefully they will be viable again.

          • The Waterstar. Range translates to accuracy, and with the accuracy nerf HCs got in 2.0, you want as much as possible

            • I'd only really go with hawkmoon for a HC. Most of the other ones I've gotten can't really compare.

              • The iron banner one is great. I'm also a hand cannon guy still. Go get the future war cult vendor hand cannon called the vanity. It comes with luck in the chamber and firefly it's amazing.

You have an identical finnalas peril as me, same sight and all and it's a great one to use bc of its 90 aim assist and 90 recoil direction. The water star is 90/90 as well in those two secondary stats, and has maximum range allowed bc of the rangefinder perk. The other two are just average rolls and average secondary stats*, so it comes down to this. Would you prefer a gun that fires faster but can NOT 1 headshot 2 bodyshot like water star. Or do you need that like finnalas peril can? My experience with using both is that water star is better bc it's faster ROF allows for slightly easier CQC battles, I've even hip fired kills bc it fires faster. And since range now stinks on HC that's your best bet IMO

                  • Used Ace of Spades in crucible the other day for a bounty and went on a 20 kill streak, this may be just my experience with the gun, but it's the only solid TTK hand cannon I've used so far.
