Tired of getting the "not connected to the Internet" pop ups

If not daily it's weekly but I'll get these pop ups when I try to log in. I'm tired of you guys saying the issue is on my side. Many I time I've done what you've recommend but to no avail. Currently I am on a wired connection, the only active device on my wifi right now and I'm sitting at 125 up and 25 down. Every other game works flawlessly so please I'm all up for reasons why the problem is on my side. If you can give me advice that I haven't heard or is actually helpful I'm all ears.

    • I'm sorry to hear that you're having connection issues. Sometimes these are intermittent and just happen once, or for a short period of time, due to network conditions between you, Bungie, and other players. Other times it can be related to your home network, other devices connected to your network, or the connection with your ISP. When you see a variety of different errors in a short period of time like this it typically indicates that there's an issue with the connection along the route that traffic is taking from your console to Bungie, or the P2P connections Destiny utilizes to connect you to other players. Take a look at our (comprehensive!) Network Troubleshooting Guide to learn how to get the optimal network setup for playing Destiny. Even when other games seem to be working fine we've found that Destiny may require a few tweaks to your network to get the best performance.

Considering the sheer amount of gamers saying the same thing, it probably isn't your fault. But there is a few things you have to consider. High traffic times when gaming. It's a FPSMMO, it will have hiccups more frequently than say a off line based game. It's all due to updates and patches, then updates for the patches. It's a viscous circle. True it is annoying, but it could be worse a lot worse. Just roll with it and don't let it get to you, soon enough everything will be running smoothly again.
