Doing Fears Embrace on Phobos. At the end with the Echo of Oryx. And the adds are just demolishing me.
Why is this mission so difficult? I've had no problems with all the others solo so far?
About to go insane..
Edit: omfg I can't believe this is trending. Sorry to the grammar -godwinslaw!- for using literally in a pastense...
But thanks community for all of the suggestions and feedback. I've never had a topic explode like this did. And I'm glad I'm not the only one wanting to break stuff.

I used the sleeper and blade dancer
-
Yep, the rest of the environment is hostile but the doorframe and inside the door is your friend
-
kill the orbs fast, then worry about trash.
-
Because your using a pea shooter -.-
-
Just get a team to help you. It's too difficult to do alone. I got it done first try with a friend.
-
It took me like 5 minutes to solo I don't understand why people struggle.
-
As a Titan you must be able to do it with HoS. Just try to reduce the Echo's life as much as you can before the ads get you. Then, at that moment, activate your super and focus on cleaning the area. After that you will be able to take it down with heavy or snipers.
-
Kill everything in waves the 3rd wave spawns echo I used 2 SS shots on echo and was done
-
You can do it!
-
Stay in the door way, snipe Echo, have a super to clear out adds, Red Death for sure for health regen, HMG for Echo and adds. Will be difficult but doable. Better with two though. No Red Death? Whatever primary works best for you. Stay as far back in the doorway as possible, the Echo's grip can still get you in there, far enough back and the grip won't damage you.

I soloed it once... took a LONG time. Best bet is find a friend and run it. I've done with a second person a couple times, not too bad at all.
-
It's actually very possible
-
Stormcaller with Red Death. RD keeps you alive. Stormtrance keeps enemies not alive
-
I solod it, it's a bit tough, just work out a strategy
-
You don't have to kill the shade. Just get his health down as fast as possible and kill the wizard.

Edited by Sixclicks: 11/26/2015 7:07:47 PMIt took me a bunch of tries when I was soloing it on my Hunter (recovery really sucks on Hunters) which I would argue is the hardest class to do it with, but it's certainly possible. I think it's one of those quests that you probably shouldn't solo to begin with unless you're planning to spend some time on it. Also, that was way back when my light was lower in first week of TTK.
-
I always solo it
-
It isn't hard if you have sleeper, a good pulse rifle and a good sniper. Light 300 makes it easy. Kill adds then attack with the sleeper and keep your super loaded. Make sure all your weapons fully loaded and active syncs
-
Hunter + void and good machinegun = 15 sec to kill him
-
Maybe for you but I soloed it
-
Stand in the door way where u enter snipe him from there. And all the ads come to u. Just have to be ready to step out when he tries to blow u up.
-
I completed it solo and I'm not that good.
-
Prioritize killing the blights > adds > boss If your Arsenal is lacking, it can be tough. Want a good sniper, and LMG. I did it with a scout and a sniper, and a useless legendary sword, I struggled.
-
I soloed it. Red death is your friend on the mission my friend. It made it was easier. Took me about 5 or 6 tries.

I was stuck on that mission for an hour, so frustrating. Finally I just decided to focus only on the boss and kill adds if I get in trouble.
