It's tough tower hopping looking for new players when all of my characters are over level 40 and over 300 light. I think it would be more fair to have Bungie extract a list of newly logged on players from their data warehouse and if a vet volunteers randomly assign a new player to the vet so they can both earn the refer a friend items. I am not inclined to delete any of my hard earned characters to impersonate a low level player. If Bungie can't extract info from the data warehouse then how about including an option in the December patch to allow a vet to select a tower with large numbers of low level new people.
