I have 2 characters at 296 light and one at 299. I hate the raids and suck at the Crucible. I love the strikes.Is it possible to achieve 300 light with out the raids or crucible.

it's totally possible, as long as you keep doing strikes, especially nightfalls and heroics. between drops, rank-up packages from vendors, and legendary marks, you'll be able to surpass 300 :-)
