Halo 5 VS. Halo Reach the facts laid down

So a lot of people have been saying halo 5 is the best halo game and that reach is trash next to it. Being a long time reach fan I have to disagree so I'm going to list everything that reach has and halo 5 doesn't and vice versa. I have to stress though I'm not saying one or the other is bad I'm just going to be stating facts and my opinions What does reach have that 5 doesn'??? -fire fight: awesome new edition starting from ODST just shooting stuff with your friends and customizing it to your hearts content. Baffles me that 4 and 5 don't have a firefight (although 4 does have Spartan Ops -forge that came with the game: this is a bit of a nit pick but it's strange how forge wasn't with 5 at launch yet it's been for any other halo game. -split screen: one of the best things about halo was playing with your brother or your friends and sadly those days are over for now. -armor abilities: this is a tough subject... most people say that armor abilities unbalanced the game because of how they could ruin the flow of a game which I don't understand because besides active camo being the only one that was kind of annoying the others could all be easily countered ex: jet packers are vulnerable in the air so shoot them while their trying to get into position. -way more game modes: this one makes me upset I mean why is it okay for halo 5 to have 7 game types( don't remember how many on the top of my head) when halo reach and even halo 4 had wayyyyyyy more then them oh sure there's one rotating playlist but why not just put all three in at once??? Halo reach had so many different game modes and while not all of them were as good as others some were fantastic ex: zombies, invasion. -Actually having to work for cool armor: I don't know why all shooters now have an RNG based loot system it's not fun after 10 gold packs to get one uncommon helmet where as in reach you had to plan your purchases save up the credits and then when you unlock that helmet go on a crazy shopping spree and make your Spartan look like a badass the fact that halo 5 is also pay to look cool with the premium req bundles is also very frustrating. Oh and also having 3 customizable parts to your Spartans looks feels very frustrating. -the story: oh boy this ones going to be tricky to explain. I know what people are going to say "the characters in reach are bland and boring" yes this is true I'm not going to defend all of reaches decisions but there are 3 things that made the reach campaign so special for me 1: you knew the outcome so seeing all these characters fight as hard as they can to save their planet is very heart wrenching since you know the outcome the fact that they keep going and going puts me into a very emotional state. 2: the fact that it's your character: I look like a badass in reach not gonna lie and the fact that I can see him everywhere in the story is awesome I feel like I worked for something. 3: it's actually difficult: for me reach is at that perfect balance of legendary difficulty it's hard but not halo 1 and 2 hard and not as easy and 4 and 5 you have to be smart and stay wary in reach and the elites shields are really tough but all the deaths are probably your own fault not like 2 where one bullet means death. -actual reason to rank up: in Halo reach the only way you could get cool armor was by 1: getting to a new rank and 2 getting the credits which made getting the rank with the cool armor important. In halo 5 I have no clue what the point of ranking up is. Is it so I can get weapons for war zone... Is that the only reason!!?? Someone please enlighten me on this subject. What does halo 5 have that reach doesn't? -Default Spartan abilities: these were a half and half for me things like the Spartan charge were annoying while the ground pound was just meh the boost is kind of cool but I feel as if I'm relying on it too much whereas in reach I feel like I'm relying on my self along with an armor ability which was usually super situational -better graphics/frame rate: this is only to be expected from it being on a next gen console and while it looks pretty I prefer reaches grimy war zone look the guns feel like weapons and not just shiny blasters that came straight from the box. And too be fair reach had actually not bad graphics for the Xbox it still holds up today I think. -war zone: okay this is a touchy subject while I admit war zone is fun it's like the batmobile from Arkham knight they shove down your throat so much. The fact that half the items in the game are only for war zone is very strange and if you don't like war zone and prefer arena then half the stuff you get is worthless. -more weapons choices: I love the SMG and BR and that's one of the things I enjoy about halo 5 how many weapons their are. Halo reach had cool weapons but 5 had more variety even though some of the guns acted pretty much the same. -You can zoom in with every gun: this feels pointless because if you get hit once your gonna zoom out so for half the automatic weapons it's pointless I don't know why it was added That's pretty much everything halo 5 does that reach hasn't already done. Now I can't stress enough that halo 5 is not a bad game in fact I enjoy it a lot. I just feel it's a step back from halo reach. If you have responses and things I missed for halo 5 or reach please explain to me. But if you are just gonna say "your wrong -blam!-" then I am considering you a squeaker unless you have some evidence to back up why you think I'm wrong. Thank you for taking the time to read this and remember this is my opinion.
