pvp is the real and natural game. the whole world plays games in a competitive manner, table tennis, chess, cards, streetball happens on the streets. why choosing bots, mechanizms, ideas and not your own species to compete with? an awkward attitude.

I'm glad you enjoy PvP. I'm glad that Destiny offers you an option of play that you like. I don't like PvP in Destiny. And it's not that I don't enjoy a little completion from time to time, I do, but I'll never be a top PvP player. Destiny fails in this regard because you have to play a certain way and be a certain kind of PvP player to complete these quests. It's just not fun. Like I said before I've never been good at PvP shooters. My best K:D in any PvP shooter is about 0.7. That's over 15 years of playing CoD, Counter Strike, Team Fortress, etc. I've accepted I'll never be better than that and I'm okay with that but for Destiny to deny me parts of the game because of that is WRONG. If you want to reward players who do excel in PvP, give them shaders or icons but don't give them gear to make the rest of the game, like raids, easier while denying it to others. As a side note, I've always seen Destiny as a primarily co-operative game, people coming together to accomplish a goal, not primarily a competitive game. Just my thoughts.

Who cares about competition?? If competing with your species makes you feel better then good for you but that's not for everyone. The pvp in Destiny is the worst I've ever played with no balance, lag and cheaters. The quests should offer two paths so we don't have to deal with that garbage. It's ok though, they can keep the weapons that require us to try that garbage.
