Nobody plays Fallout for the graphics. 4 has decent graphics but why does it even matter? Do you guys only play video games for the graphics? Gameplay will always win and that's why they succeed.

1 ReplyFirst thing: Wow! The guys voice is annoying and impossible to actually listen too. I think Fallout 4 is a great game. A kind of buggy, glitchy game, but definitely fun. I am one of those people that dislikes the outdated graphics though. But i can probably blame that on playing the witcher 3 on a PC. That game is at least the same size, if not bigger. Looks so much better at everything, leading me to believe that it could've actually been done. Also no annoying loading screens for opening a door. Graphics aren't the most important thing in a game. But they do help make a good game even better. People just have a tendency to compare games. Coming from a game where the developer DID bother, it's graphics, animations and character models feel outdated. Doesn't take anything away from the game, just means their competition has already done it better.

It looks perfectly fine to me, I don't get the gripes. I literally read where one guy stated that "Fallout 4's graphics are terrible. The world looks like a wasteland they are so bad." Besides, if you are buying a Bethesda RPG for its graphics, you're doing it wrong anyway. Bethesda has always been about the gameplay. That to me is what makes their games so good.

Dude play any previous Fallout game and THEN play 4. You should be comparing previous Fallout titles to it, not anything else. Sound like some of my friends who are obsessed with NBA 2K graphics [i]every[/i] year, as if they're getting noticeably better lol.

36 RepliesKids these days... it's all about graphics over gameplay. They don't care about the fact that Fallout is an amazing experience to get immersed into. No, they look at it and think... "This game looks sh*t compared to 3 or 4 other games so it much be garbage!". To think that these imbeciles are our future is grim to say the least.

21 RepliesFallout's graphics are, on the whole, subpar. This is largely due to their absurd insistence on using the awful Gamebryo engine. Destiny (on PS4) looks like a proper AAA game in terms of high fidelity visuals. You can, of course, find specific pockets or areas that are less polished than others, but the difference between Destiny and Fallout 4 is you're positively immersed in bad graphics in Fallout and have to search for them in Destiny. [spoiler]And as expected, Fallout 4 is a mediocre, buggy, casualized mess.[/spoiler] [spoiler]Destiny is largely the same, but looks better and has less bugs.[/spoiler]

As a pc gamer primarily, fallout on the pc isn't the best I have ever seen, but it looks better than anything on my ps4 The best looking game for me is the Witcher 3, it's orgasmic I played Witcher on ps4 first and there is no comparison And I have like hardware that's 2 years old now

3 RepliesI play it on Xbox one. The graphics aren't amazing but it is the one game I have found that I like better than skyrim. The gameplay is just amazing.

Play on PC. Add 2k or 4k texture mod and realistic lighting. Profit.
