Imprecation seems to fire blanks as well. As does The Vanity and Hawkmoon. I'm trying to complete the Quest line for The First Curse, and feel like I've been robbed by said blanks, those shots you KNEW would hit and didn't register, which in turn has kept me from competion thus far.

I'm an average player who kept on playing with hc in this pulse day and age. I think that's the main thing. You got to think differently when you're playing hc's versus the op pulses nowadays :D I do agree that the rapid fire accuracy in HC just sucks

Hmm I did this quest on my third game of rumble... With no fireteam... In the middle of the game so I still had time to switch to my normal weapons and win the match... They was even a couple of the "pulse rifle meta weapons in there too and I still won. Git gud scrubs.

That's what Im trying to do, ass. Get good with a Hand Cannons. What better way that making it as hard as possible by learning on the biggest POS hand cannon in the game? Seriously, the Häkke test hand cannons do better work than Imprecation.

Dude I was just trolling. I get that some people have trouble with it. You gotta play smarter with it, watch around corners and play conservative, in my game where I finished the bounty. I stole probably 5 of my kills from other people because the impact is so damn high. I saw two people fighting and promptly shot them both in the head.

This was my experience as well.

I don't have The First Curse yet but the hardest part about the quest for me hasn't been getting precision shots in crucible but instead staying alive longer enough against the current pulse rifle meta to turn those precision shots into precision kills. If I go into a game a see a Red Death, Nirwin's Mercy or Hawksaw I don't even bother with the bounty for that game.

This quest line has kind of brought me into scope with the annoyance of what's broken with the other weapons.Pulse rifles are where they need to be. Hand cannons Most definitely need to be UNBROKEN. Balance is a tricky thing, like OP is saying, too.

I would probably be saying the same thing as you, if I didn't main a warlock with the tlaloc. That thing melts, even with body shots.

It's very good to see scout rifles getting use in The Crucible now. There was the occasional MIDA, VoC and Fang, but never so many and colorful Varity of scouts now.
