The REAL Xûr!!!!

Everyone knows about that mysterious hooded figure who appears in the tower every Friday to troll us with shitty exotics we already have. However, it’s possible that the creepy tentacle face dude we see in the tower is not his true form, but an agent or extension of his true self. In order to contemplate his true form, we need to think about what little information about the Nine, and an extinct dragon-like species known as the Ahamkara. First, we will discuss the Nine. Here is a quote from Ghost Fragment: Legends 2: "The Nine are survivors of the cis-Jovian colonies who made a compact with an alien force to ensure their own survival. The Nine are deep-orbit warminds who weathered the Collapse in hardened stealth platforms. The Nine are ancient leviathan intelligences from the seas of Europa or the hydrocarbon pits of Titan. The Nine arrived in a mysterious transmission from the direction of the Corona-Borealis supercluster. The Nine are the firstborn Awoken and their minds now race down the field lines of the Jupiter-Io flux tube. The Nine are Ghosts who pierced the Deep Black without a ship and meditated on the hissing silence of the heliopause. The Nine are the aspects of the Darkness, broken by the Traveler's rebuke, working to destroy us from within. The Nine is a viral language of pure meaning. The Nine are the shadows left by the annihilation of a transcendent shape, burned into the weft of what is." Long ago, in the Golden Age, the Ahamkara made deals and bargains with the humans. However, after the collapse, the early guardians supposedly hunted them to extinction. Why would the guardians do this? Long ago, before our Golden Age even began, the Traveler used to belong to the Fallen. When the darkness found the Traveler, it fled lightyears away, abandoning the Fallen entirely. The next species to gain the Traveler's blessings were the humans. Eventually, the darkness found us. The Traveler was about to abandon us just as it had with the Fallen. In response, Rasputin attacked the Traveler, severely crippling it. The Traveler knew that if it tried to flee now, the darkness would catch up to it and destroy it. There was only one thing left it could do to ensure its survival: use up the last of its strength to push back the darkness and create ghosts and guardians. Being creatures of the Traveler, the Ahamkara probably tried to heal it so it could leave. To prevent this, the guardians had no other choice but to hunt the Ahamkara to extinction. However, are they truly extinct? "The Nine are survivors of the cis-Jovian colonies who made a compact with an alien force to ensure their own survival." There just may be one left, hiding deep inside a warmind on Europa. My theory is that the survivors of the cis-Jovian colonies, some of which may have been guardians, found the last Ahamkara. The Ahamkara made a deal with the survivors, that if they did not attack it, it would not attack them. If the guardians gave it their ghosts, and access to the Jovian warmind, it would in return, protect them from the darkness and cease in its efforts to heal the Traveler. In that moment, the Nine was born. There are 3 Ahamkara names known to date: Eao, Nyx, and Maw. All of these names have 3 letters. Xûr also has 3 letters. Based on the evidence, I think it is very possible that Xûr is the last Ahamkara in existence. The creepy tentacle face dude we see in the Tower probably used to be one of the awoken survivors, but now lives on inside the Jovian warmind. "The Nine are the firstborn Awoken and their minds now race down the field lines of the Jupiter-Io flux tube." It would make sense that the bodies are now under Xûr's control, so he can continue to make bargains with guardians, just as he and the rest of his kind did before the collapse. Also look at this video (I didn't make it): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQeLNj-IYso That's what made me think of this. Edit 1: OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just had an absolutely massive epiphany!!! The ahamkara are creatures of the Traveler, and they love to trade. Based on this, I think the light is all about trading and fairness. The darkness does not follow those rules. The darkness only takes. It takes and leaves nothing behind. The only thing you can claim from the darkness is pain. The grimoire HEAVILY implies how the darkness is based on theft. And just think about it: the Taken. And Oryx, the Taken king! In fact, one grimoire card refers to him as "the king of taking." Trading is the way of the light, and theft is the way of the dark. I HAVE SOLVED DESTINY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Edit 2: If Europa is introduced as a new area in the Forge of Gods DLC, I made up a cutscene where you go inside the Cis-Jovian complex, and talk to the real Xûr. I hope you all enjoy! :D https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/171782047/0/0/1
