Yeah, gonna have to disagree The Chaperone is an absolute beast. I took this weapon on all 3 characters for trials and went 9-0 flawless on all characters. The majority of my kills were also with The Chaperone. This shotgun just requires more practice since you HAVE TO learn to aim for the head(for it to 1 shot). There were plenty of clutch moments for myself with the shotgun where I would snipe 3 ppl with 1 clip of my Chaperone.

That's really impressive. Maybe my timing is off, or I'm just not getting headshots consistently, but I find that as I have 1v1's in Rumble, I'll shoot first, get a critical, but not a kill, and then get stuffed by their shotgun half a second later before I can pop a second shot. The damage fall-off is very very sharp. I was running around with it in PVP to test the range, I would get a critical kill, take one step back and it would do 2 damage on a dreg. It's like it goes from super fatal shotgun slug to ping-pong ball. That is the part that bothers me. A shotgun slug simply doesn't behave like that. I'm glad it works for you though, I'll keep practicing :)
