It's so confusing when someone joins a fireteam with a female character and ends up being a dude (*cue Aerosmith*).
Do they all just want the D? But seriously, can any guys who do this shed some light on.. why?
I feel like someone pulled an Oprah, "You get a female warlock, and YOU get a female warlock! Everyone gets female warlocks!"
Edit: Jesus H. Christopher, I'm curious. I've noticed this quite often since I started playing, and I can't answer this question for myself, so I wanted some insight. inb4more "why do you even caaaaare?!!1!?!?"
Edit again: holy -blam!-, I'm a girl. Hence why I don't have insight to why this happens.
Edit, take three: thanks to everyone who gave a legitimate answer! I appreciate the insight :-)

Well personally I do it for character diversity. Kinda the same reason someone does the different races. Because the doesn't impact game play at all, besides the grunting sounds made by injured Guardians, it's really just to keep from looking at the same kinda thing every time you're in the tower. Other people might do it for character purposes and actually develop their characters in writing outside the game and don't want a sausage fest of characters Then there are the people who have the "I'd rather look at a lady butt then a guy butt when running around the tower" mentality going on (these are the same males who played female characters in Skyrim n such for those same reasons. And last but not least there are the Jack Patillos of the world. Nuf said
