Code Canary

I Have been having trouble with staying connected to the Destiny servers and every time it tells me that it is code canary, but me and my roommate are connected to the same internet and we will both be playing and it will tell me no internet access but let him keep playing and i will still be connected on my party chat. Destiny will boot me right when I am almost done with the level it kicks me and i have to restart. i have tried to restart my modem my xbox and everything else canary says will "fix" the problem and everything but destiny is working. I am really close to dropping destiny.

  • My son was having the same problem. GO to Xbox settings and restart XBOX from ther if you have not already. That sorted the problem, before doing that my son could see that one of his freinds was already connected and playing Destiny, that was why I tried the settings method.

  • I here you, I am trying to do the raid and when I am almost done it like my xbox shuts off and I open it back up and I get "canary" I got so mad one time I quit destiny and I am thinking about doing it again.

  • Usually when I get error codes with a really good connection, I reset my system WiFi for 10sec and the turn it back on and jump back on. It works with pretty much all error codes from what I've seen too. Doing a hard reset also works.

  • Hello taz isnt here, Error Code Canary indicates that your console is unable to find a network connection. If you are on WiFi, your console may be in a location that diminishes the quality of your WiFi signal. If you are hard wired, please ensure that both ends of your Ethernet cable are securely plugged into your console and network hardware.
