Yesterday I killed my first hammer throwing titan! Here’s how…
First I managed to throw a tripmine grenade in his head. Walking around with a tripmine in your head is very disorienting, so that helped A LOT. When it exploded it took away about half of his health. I was surprised that didn’t kill him, so that disoriented me for a bit.
The exploding tripmine grenade pissed him off quite a bit so he threw a few hammers in my direction. Luckily I managed to avoid those hammers or his health would’ve probably regenerated and my teammates would be -blam!-ed. After that I managed to land two or three shots of my primary weapon and that took him out…
Pretty sweet! I was shaking when it was over. My palms were sweaty. I couldn’t believe what I just witnessed.
Please tell about the first time you killed a HoS titan!

Mayhem, he just popping his super, I Nova bombed him. He died. End of story. I've come super close a few times with NTTE just shooting in the head but eventually that hammer always beats me to the punch. Always comes down to either running away, like golden gun bring popped, or wasting my super on them. LoL

Killed a couple in mayhem with sunsinger. Was the most rewarding feeling ever. Grenades and jumping a lot and a couple of primary shots

Team killing is the only way ive been able to take one down

Sniped him with my Efrideets. That's the only reliable way to take them out without using a super. Kinda sad that Bungie hasn't lowered armor yet, as It won't be possible to do this when IB/ToO comes out.
