Well I feel there is two sides to this. Her knowledge has helped us, but for what purpose? She helped us kill Crota, only to summon Oryx. She saved us from the funeral, using hive magic from a exiled guardian. Yet only used it once, she didn't use it when you got the empty crystal, only once you held Crota. Why would she feel it more important to save you then? Unless she wants that soul for herself. You only need a whisper, so why did she want more? She made you ascendant to kill oryx, but she made us part hive. She gave us will breaker, but who knows what she did with it before.
