Horrible. They took EVERYTHING that people hated about the Year One loot system....and made it the center-piece of their endgame PVP experience. 1. Poor drop rates for desired items. 2. Things that did drop frequently were largely unusable (except for weapon and armor parts) to end-game level players. WTF do end game level players need with more motes of light? ..and why did someone think that ONE mote was a reasonable reward for a Crucible match, when I can get FIVE in less than two minutes of a Public Event on patrol?? 3. They walled off desired items that didn't drop behind a wall of the most difficult to come by resource in the game: Legendary marks. So not only did I not get everything I wanted to drop....I wasn't able to buy all the things that didn't because I ran out of marks...and ran out of opportunities to earn enough before IB comes to an end. Verdict: Unqualified disaster.
