Once upon a time there was a student named Hal. Hal was a good little student and did all the BS homework and extra-credit activities he could for ALL his teachers in order to get a good grade. One day, in Hal's Creative Writing class his Psycho Teacher said "Hey, why don't we all go to a play! That way you guys can see writing in action!" So they all agree and make a plan to meet next week 15 minutes before their typical class starts and walk to the theater as a group. So, a week goes by and little-student-angel-Hal shows up at the agreed time. Theres no one there. So, being a good little student he asks one of Psycho Teacher's other students, "Where is everyone?" Turns out, Psycho Teacher left a half-a-frikken-hour early and took all the tickets with her. So, Good-little-angle-student-Hal runs his a$$ off to get to the stupid theater, which was about a mile away. 15 minutes later and now thoroughly sweaty, he finds the theater and goes inside to find that the Box Office is closed and that the play has already started and theres no way for him to get himself a ticket. So, with a heavy heart and sore legs, he walks back to school and vows to never sign up for another BS extra-credit activity again! (This is a true story that happened 1 hour ago to me.)
