I can not get to all of you and I apologise for that. Another thing: before completely ignoring these statistics try and take into account not only the super but the vast majority of the game as well - i.e. time spent without a Super. Because the Sunbreaker Subclass is so heavily focused around Hammer of Sol, it is left with a mediocre neutral game with few options in comparison with others - e.g. Gunslinger. This is what turns the tide and puts Gunslinger at top. That and the fact that Golden Gun is still extremely good. For example unlike Hammer of Sol if Golden Gun is activated in your line of sight your chances of survival are extremely low due to it being extremely difficult to avoid in comparison to Hammer of Sol thanks to the lack of travel time, lack of arc, high aim assist and so on.

well hmm lemme see LOGIC would tell me a few thing's about those stat's first. SB was the most popular [i]Yesss[/i] so with that in mind I would have to take into account all the scrubs who rushed to use it and failed....go figure. secondly bungie does not nerf just because its strong they nerf for overuse....look at the nerf history. peace I'm out

2 RepliesMore stats for hunters bec almost half the community is hunters! Not even a fair comparison. Let me break it down. Sunbreakers has the most shield out of all supers. It has a ranged super. And the ability to choose a melee. The hammer tracks and blows up on proximity. Survives a golden gun shot (I'm not a mad hunter just stating that everything else does from it) and the hammer has a large aoe. Compare to golden gun. Golden gun can get a maximum of roughly 3 kills (special circumstances can get a bonus kill) a hammer can wipe a team with ease due to health regeneration. Golden gun doesn't get health regen. Only thing golden gun has that hammer doesn't is no travel time (which doesn't matter bec of tracking and proximity) and titan has armour/tracking/proximity/health regen/aoe. Tell me that's not OP and your crazy

7 RepliesHammer titan super is tankier than a bladedancer (with hungering blade), has the range of a golden gun, the aoe of a nova bomb, and the same number of throws as a sunsinger warlocks grenades. ITS EVERY OTHER CLASSES SUPER IN THE GAME COMBINED INTO GOD-MODE.

3 RepliesI think these numbers boil down to the fact that most skilled players still play hunter. Aside from their super, HoS titans have very little to offer. Gunglingers have better grenades, better melee, more evasive jump and still a very effective super. An OP super doesn't make up for those things. I play titan and hunter roughly equally, but given the chance I play crucible on my hunter every time. Many many players are the same way.

Well as I can see being a hunter is harder than the other classes, because their supers get overshields, but hunters dont (blade dancers do but not as much). If hunters use super they die faster than when the other 2 classes use theirs. So the survivability of a hunters super will get u 3 kills??

The fact that my hunter, which I have way more practice on, has a K/D .35 lower than my Sunbreaker, would beg to differ.

I must say I enjoy the power we Titans have received. I will also say I get filled with dread when I hear an opposing Guardian's Hammer of Sol activate. This is quite the controversy, and with debates come complaints. Productive complaints are good, for we want a balanced game. However, many people only whine and rile up others to whine as well (intentionally or unintentionally) for good or bad reasons. Whether I support or oppose your thoughts is besides the point; I would much rather see statistics and data to prove a point rather than informal and unprofessional rants. Thank you.

Stats don't necessarily suggest anything relevant about the unbalanced nature of a Subclass or Class. If Bungie were to find two 100% equally skilled players (or run simulations using the exact same programming protocols) and pitch them against each other using every combination of Class and Subclass, then report those findings, I might be more inclined to rely on stats. Out of curiosity, what are the statistics for the percentage of a subclass played in its class overall? I would be willing to bet that Titans are currently around 99% Sunbreaker (assuming they have unlocked all 3 Subclasses). Hunters and Warlocks most likely have a wider spread of subclasses used. While this may be an indicator that they are not balanced in terms of all of their subclasses, it is also an indication that there is an overall imbalance between all classes and subclasses. If Hunters and Warlocks had a one sided subclass that was purely superior in crucible, then nobody would [i]feel[/i] underpowered. As it stands, Sunbreaker being the most popular subclass makes it seem overpowered. I certainly nerd rage over being killed by Sunbreakers more than any other subclass. But I'm also in my mid 20's playing a video game and posting on a forum like it actually matters in real life.

As a class not op. But the super itself is when compared to other supers. But that said the class is still very strong without the super if used right.

6 RepliesNot gonna lie I actually like going up against Titans (Sunbreaker) in PvP. A lot of people complain about this game being to easy and feel like there isn't that much to challenge them besides in PvE. I say to hell with that, crucible has actually been more exciting since the new subclasses have been released. I know I get hyped as shit when I kill a player using HoS. And yes it is possible just be smart and out wit them. FYI Titans are slow as shit, and I can easily out run them if needed. From a Hunter, who's ok with battling any subclass. Bring it on!

Its funny that sunbreakers will still get a nerf anyways. Most likely to damage resistance thats the only aspect that needs adjusting imo.
