What if the Ravenous Heart was, in fact, Oryx's ability to tribute to other hive ancients?
What if this ability passed on from the Ravenous Heart to Eris and finally to our so beloved weapon, the Touch of Malice, given to us from Eris?
What if Eris actually made the Touch of Malice for us to use it and made tributes with it to free Savanuth/the Queen crom her ThroneWorld?

It certainly begs the question: why did Eris take the heart of the sword instead of my Guardian, and what did she do with it before it was mine? I think either with Touch of Malice or with our swords we are feeding the worm of Savathun. When she returns as Mara Sov phase 2, she will be more powerful than before. She will have Oryx's power. What she does then is anyone's guess. It was Savathun, after all, that swapped places with Oryx and eventually came to doubt the validity of their cause.

Yes, the ting inside Ravenous Heart in the Touch of Malice is Mara Sov's/Savanuth's worm feeding with each of our kills? What if the worm inside ToM feeds everytime a guardian is killed with his special perk?

with all this debate my theory is we are just feeding Mara Sov and strengthening her, and for future DLC that could be good or bad

My opinion: bad. Because like the OP said, if we are feeding Mara Sov's worm and the Awoken is the Hive of our solar system, there's going to be a freaking war at our doorstep
